global perspective to our students and to make them ethically strong engineers to build our nation.
MISSION:
1- To develop highly competent professionals, preparing them for entry-level
positions in civil engineering, life-long learning, and societal leadership.
2- The Department is dedicated to providing a dynamic learning environment,
problem-solving skills, team work, communication, and leadership skills.
3- To offers an exceptional curriculum including in-depth coverage in four
technical sub-disciplines of civil engineering: Geotechnical engineering,
Structural engineering, Transportation engineering, and Water Resources
engineering, as well as broad coverage in: Computer Aided Design,
Construction Management, Environmental engineering, and Surveying.
The department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering The department has justifiably prided itself on the quality of its academic programmes and is keeping pace with the latest developments in engineering education. The Department actively promotes curriculam development activity by updating existing courses, developing new courses and preparing resource material for teaching. The faculty of the department continues to strive loftier by exploring new frontiers of knowledge, imparting the latest technical knowledge to the students and conducting high quality of research.
