MoU with IIT Kanpur

On 03-03-2023 a Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between THDC-IHET and IIT Kanpur wherein a GNSS station was setup in the institute premises, IIT Kanpur wish to install such stations in educational institutions such that the institution can also gain in terms of education and research. With this installation IIT Kanpur will provide GNSS education and training, and invite collaboration in research by sharing data and their expertise.

  • Prof. Balaji Devaraju and his research group at IIT Kanpur will be solely responsible for the installation and maintenance of the continuously operating GNSS station at THDC- IHET, Tehri.
  • The data will be transmitted directly to the repository located at IIT Kanpur
  • The data will be shared with the THDC-IHET, Tehri, after checking for integrity, from the repository located at IIT Kanpur.
  • Once every three months members from the group of the PI will inspect the installation under normal working conditions of the installation

MoU with Cerebo-Spark, Pune and ELESPA HEV pvt. ltd., Pune

On 16-02-2023 a Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between THDC-IHET and Cerebospark, Pune to improve the individual student's education, knowledge along with technical and entrepreneurial skills and promote R&D efforts through industry-academia collaboration. The Following general forms of co-operation for programmes or activities were finalized for potential negotiation

  • CEREBROSPARK will give valuable inputs to THDC-IHET in training, research, methodology, learning materials, and other kinds of literature relevant to Drone and allied technology.
  • CEREBROSPARK will provide support to establish startups in THDC-IHET
  • CEREBROSPARK will provide support in the identification of Drone and allied Industry R&D problems and assign them to THDC- IHET students to carry out collaborative research activities that will benefit both parties.
  • CEREBROSPARK will permit the faculty, technical staff, and students of the THDC- IHET to visit its company and also be involved in training programs for the THDC-IHET

On the same day, another Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between THDC-IHET and ELESPA HEV, Pune to improve the individual student's education, knowledge along with technical and entrepreneurial skills and promote R&D efforts through industry-academia collaboration. The Following general forms of co-operation for programmes or activities were finalized for potential negotiation

  • ELESPA HEV will give valuable inputs to THDC-IHET in training, research, methodology, learning materials, and other kinds of literature relevant to Drone and allied technology.
  • ELESPA HEV will permit the faculty, technical staff, and students of the THDC-IHET to visit its company and also be involved in training programs for the THDC-IHET
  • ELESPA HEV will provide support to establish startups in THDC-IHET.
  • ELESPA HEV will provide support in the identification of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Industry R&D problems and assign them to T HDC- IHET students to carry out collaborative research activities that will benefit both parties.


MoU with IIP Dehradun

On 13-02-2023 a Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between THDC-IHET and IIP Dehradun to promote academic and research collaborations. The purposes of the cooperation are to promote cooperative research and to facilitate the exchange of ideas, the development of new knowledge, and to enhance high quality research acumen.

  • Exchanges of faculty and students for the purposes of research and teaching
  • The development and implementation of cooperative research projects, professional development programs, and capacity-building efforts
  • The dissemination of findings through scholarly publications, white papers, and in the media
  • Pursue joint M.Tech courses

MoU with NIT Uttarakhand

On 27-01-2023 a Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between THDC-IHET and NIT uttarkhand to promote academic and research collaborations. The Following general forms of co-operation for programmes or activities were finalized for potential negotiation

  • Visits by and exchange of faculty members and research scholars
  • Exchange of information including, but not limited to, research publications of faculty members
  • Joint research activites and joint supervision of research work
  • Joint conferences or symposia on subjects of mutual interest
