Duration of service
As per RTI act, following are the duration of services:
1. PIO : The reply of RTI should be disseminated within 30 days from the receipt of the RTI.
2. Ist Appellate Authority: The appeal should be disposed of within 30 days from the date of receipt of the appeal. In unavoidable circumstances, the period of disposal can be extended by another 15 days for reasons to be recorded. Appeal can be disposed of within a maximum 45 days from the date of receipt.
